Reiki is a form of energy healing. Discovered by Mikao Usui in the early 20th Century, it was brought to the West by Hawayo Takata in 1936. Particularly useful for relief in chronic conditions, pain relief and stress, Reiki is at the very least relaxing. A treatment is non-invasive and non-manipulative, the client remaining fully dressed the whole time. A treatment takes about an hour and comprises the practitioner placing their hands in a series of proscribed postions covering the head, main organs, endocrine and nervous system. There are literally millions of Reiki websites available on the net. Here you will find a choice few, with the most to offer.
