Pewsey is the largest settlement in the Vale of Pewsey, east of  Devizes.
The Vale of Pewsey lies between the the Marlborough Downs and Salisbury Plain.
Pewsey is served by a railway station on the Reading to Taunton line, and the
Kennet and Avon Canal, flows through the north of Pewsey parish.
Pewsey Down at the south of the parish features Pewsey White Horse, cut in 1937,
to replace one existing since the eighteenth century.
To the south, Abbots and Bruce Downs are in the southern extremes of  Manningfold parish,
south west of Pewsey, and  Everleigh parish is to the south east.
Milton Hill is to the east, in Milton Lilbourne parish, for which websites are also included here.
Milton Lilbourne parish stretches over the canal to the north, where the boundary is
with Wootton Rivers represented by  Savernake further north east.
The A345 road leads north from Pewsey to  Marlborough first passing through the combined parish of  Wilcot, Huish and Oare.
Wilcot village is on the canal west of Pewsey, before  Woodborough parish and  Honeystreet.
