The Municipal District of Foothills is in the southern region of Alberta and is near the Census Metropolitan Area of Calgary. It includes the hamlets of Aldersyde, Blackie, Cayley, De Winton, Heritage Pointe, Millarville, Priddis and Priddis Greens, the Village of Longview and the towns of Black Diamond, High River, Okotoks and Turner Valley.
