Belchertown is a town located in Hampshire County, Massachusetts. It was first settled in 1731 and was officially incorporated in 1761.

Situated on Route 9 just ten miles southeast of Amherst, is the second largest town, in area, in Massachusetts. The town provides a striking town green, ringed with white churches and colonial homes and is the site of band concerts, festivals and community activities throughout the year.
