Aneth is located in the southeastern area of Utah in San Juan County. The community is located about ten miles west of the Utah/Colorado border and six miles west of Montezuma Creek on Utah 262.
The community lies within the Navajo Nation and is home to the Navajo Chapter Headquarters.
