- Porthleven is a town on the south coast of Cornwall, between Land's End and Lizard Peninsula,
- being the southernmost fishing port in the UK.

- Breage is the parish immediately west of Porthleven, where villages such as Ashton are represents here.
- Helston is the parish and town inland to the north west.
- To the south east along Porthleven Sands, Carminwoe Creek forms the parish boundary with Gunwalloe,
