Rita is street savvy cat who loves to sing. She thinks she is a little better then everyone else but is still looking for a home. She probably tells herself that she hangs around Runt just for transportation but in truth she likes him and besides he helped her out of a few jams. Rita is voiced by Bernadette Peters, who has made a name for herself in several Broadway musicals, including "Into The Woods" and starred in several movies.
