Captain Caveman originally appeared in 1977 as part of Scooby's All-Starr Laff-A-Lympics. Later on he got his own show, Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels, in which he teamed up with teen sleuths Dee Dee, Brenda and Taffy. Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels ran in 1980 on ABC.
