Five international teens, each with special powers from the elements -- Kwame (Earth), Gi (Water), Linka (Wind), Wheeler (Fire), and Ma-Ti (Heart) -- come together to summon Captain Planet, the first environmental superhero. This 1990 series, produced by DiC and Hanna- Barbera, had the support of many environmentalist celebrities, who served as its voice cast.
