The duo Seals and Crofts consisted of Jim Seals and Darrell George "Dash" Crofts. Though they performed separately for many years starting in the late 1950s, they were probably most popular in the 1970s for their soft rock music duo. Seals was born October 17, 1942 (possibly 1941) in Sidney, Texas, and died June 6, 2022 from a stroke. Crofts was born August 14, 1940 in Cisco, Texas. Both men followed the Baháʼí faith.
