Germaine Tailleferre was the only female member of the famous Group des Six (which also included Georges Auric, Louis Durey, Arthur Honneger, Darius Milhaud and Francis Poulenc).
She was born April 19. 1892 at Saint Maur des Fossés, a suburb of Paris, and died on November 7, 1983 in Paris.
