b. Vincent Grant Gill was born on 12 April 1957 in Norman, Oklahoma, USA. Gill's father was a lawyer who played in a part-time country band and encouraged his son to have a career in country music. In March 2000, he married singer Amy Grant. His new album, Let's Make Sure We Kiss Goodbye, followed a month later.
