For bands and artists who play Celtic music.
More information
- The alphabetical categories include those who play music from the closely linked Scottish and Irish traditions, which have managed to spread internationally.
- There are several other traditions however - just as vibrant, if perhaps less well-travelled. To avoid these musics "getting lost" within the Irish/Scottish performers, there are categories for performers of Breton, Cornish, Galician, Manx, and Welsh traditions in Regional, and categories for performers of strong "expatriate traditions" such as have developed in Cape Breton and Newfoundland in Canada.
