American drama series, first aired on AMC in January 2008, exploring the descent into crime of chemistry teacher Walter White (played by Bryan Cranston) and former student Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul). Diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, Walter enlists Jesse's help to make and sell methamphetamine as a means of providing for his family's future. The critically acclaimed series has won numerous awards, including multiple Emmys for Best Drama Series and the performances of Cranston and Paul.
