Yarcombe is a village nestling west of the Yarty Valley with its steep rolling meadows and ancient woods on the south edge of the Blackdown Hills.
Although the village centre is small, with its historical Norman church, old inn with monastical roots, hotel and a cluster of houses,
its many outlying farms and hamlets make Yarcombe a large parish with a very active community.
