This category represents the West Dorset parish of Batcombe east of the A37 road, south east of  The Melburys.
Batcombe village occupies lowland north of a downs scarp slope, separating the parish
from Frome St Quintin to the south, and Up Cerne to the east of the  Cerne valley.
The hamlet of Redford is at the north tip of Batcombe parish, before  Chetnole to the north.
