Litton Cheney is a small village south of the A35 road east from  Bridport, overlooking the Bride Valley.
The River Bride rises to the east at Bridehad Lake, in Littlebredy parish and flows west, where the linear settlement
of Long  Bredy climbs up the north bank, and Long Bredy parish is directly east of Litton Cheney parish.
At this point, Puncknowle parish is south across the valley, and websites for Puncknowle are listed in the  Abbotsbury category.
The next parish west is Chilcombe on the north bank, and Swyre to the south is represented by  Burton Bradstock,
where the Bride flows to its mouth with the English Channel at Burton Freshwater.
