Edgworth is a village on the outskirts of Bolton but just within the boundaries of Blackburn with Darwin Borough although they are somewhat isolated from the rest of the borough. The villages of Turton Bottoms (the signpost just says Turton) and Chapeltown are nearby and most locals consider them to be part of the same residential area.
