Sutton Bridge is the south-eastern parish of Lincolnshire, characterised by an iron swing bridge over the
tidal section of the River Nene, and serves as a port to the  Wash.
The parish extends or the Wash, where at Guy's Head, a former light house on each bank of the Nene mark the entrance.
The county boundary with Norfork is east of the Nene at  Terrington St Clement and  Walpole area.
The north of the parish marks the east tip of The Wash National Nature Reserve, with the parish of  Lutton to the north west,
and  Long Sutton to the west, separated in the south from Cambridgeshire by the parish of  Tydd St Mary.
