- Wainfleet St Mary is a village on the A52 to the south of the town with the Wainfleet Haven
- section of Steeping River as the parish boundary, which stretches east to The Wash.
- North of the town the Steeping River is bifurcated to the Wainfleet Relief Channel which forms the parish boundary with Thorpe St Peter to the north.
- East of the A52, Wainfleet Relief Channel joins the meandering Steeping River between All Saints and St Mary, south of Havenhouse railway station,
- for the line between Wainfleet All Saints and Skegness stations.
- Here the parish of Croft separates Wainfleet St Mary from Skegness, east to the Wash at Gibraltar Point.
