- the south bank of the Kennet and Avon Canal, south east of Staverton.
- Hilperton parish extends north east across the canal to Whaddon where the northern bounary is the River Avon.
- Here, the eastern boundary is with Semington, which is north of Great Hinton.
- To the south of Hilperton, Trowbridge extends east as far as West Ashton parish, represented by Steeple Ashton further south east.
