Lacock is a Wiltshire Council parish on the A350 road midway, south of  Chippenham, and north of  Melksham.
The villages of Bowden Hill and Lacock are east of the A350, before  Bromham parish.
Notton is west of the A350 in the north of the parish before  Corsham to the north west,
which includes Gastard to the west of Lacock parish, whereas
Whitley to the south west, is north east of  Atworth.
The River Avon flows south from Chippenham, though the parish, east of Lacock village
and Beanacre in Melksham Without parish.
