The town of Point of Rocks is located approximately 16 miles west of Frederick, MD and approximately 17 miles north of Leesburg, VA. It is located at the corner of MD Routes 15 & 28 right near the Rt. 15 bridge that crosses the Potomac River. Its population according to the 2000 census is 1098.
