Agawam is a city located in Hampden County, Massachusetts. It was incorporated as a town in 1855.
Agawam is located in southwestern Massachusetts and is bordered by Southwick and Westfield on the west, West Springfield on the north, the Connecticut River on the east and Suffield, Connecticut on the south. Its total area is 24.23 square miles and population is approximately 27,500.
