Cuba is an island country off the coast of Florida, United States. US policy since the onset of the 1960s has been an economic embargo against Cuba, ostensibly aimed at ending the communist leadership of Cuba. The economic sanctions include sending money or goods to family or friends in Cuba, making charitable donations, spending money in Cuba, and doing business with Cuban companies. The policy has been debated for more than forty years. Web sites that provide information about the issues without necessarily taking a position belong in this primary category. There is a subcategory for each of the opposing views.
