The International Temples Project is the unfolding of a profound and compassionate vision to build temples dedicated to world peace in every major city of the world. In some cases, Temples are built from scratch according to sacred architecture. In other cases, Temples are created by retrofitting existing buildings.

The unfolding of the compassionate vision to fulfill the goal of world peace by building a Kadampa Buddhist Temple in every major city of the world. Inspired by Venerable Geshe Kelsang, this project is a contribution to world peace.
Founded by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso in Glen Spey, New York to serve as a National Retreat Center and the home of the first Kadampa Buddhist Temple in North America to be built according to traditional design. See pictures here.
