This category primarily serves as a placeholder for the subcategories that are dedicated to individual, recognized authors.

To site suggesters: Please find the most specific category. We list sites according to the author's last name, and the genre. If for example the author's name is Jane Doe, and she writes only poetry, please click on the letter D sub-category, then on the Poetry link. That is where the website should be suggested. If the author writes in a variety of Genres, simply click on the letter D sub-category, then suggest the site there. Also be aware that when the primary focus is to sell books, those sites should be suggested to Shopping/Publications/Books or its sub-categories.

Horror

Sites submitted here must pertain to a horror author. Please submit your site to the appropriate author category. If the author in question does not have his/her own category, please submit the site to the appropriate letter category. Author sites that only offer the novels for sale should be submitted to the Shopping category.

Humor

Limited to published humorists, such as those whose works include books and syndicated columns.

Sites consisting of humorous rants and raves not published elsewhere should be submitted instead to Arts: Online Writing.

Non-fiction

Web sites by, or about, authors and writers of non-fiction.

Spirituality

This category includes sites about authors who write about religious or spiritual concepts. Religion is a social phenomenon involving systems of shared practices, views, symbols, and moral values. Spirituality is a personal relationship and communication with the Divine or the Ground of Being, with or without the direct influence of any organization or a set of organizationally imposed views.

Only sites that are of interest to people looking for information about specific authors who write from or about a particular religious or spiritual viewpoint, will be accepted for inclusion into this category.

Also be aware that we do not accept sites whose primary focus is to sell books. Such sites should instead be submitted to Shopping/Publications/Books/Religion_and_Spirituality/ and its sub-categories.

Young Adult

Find links to sites for or about young adult authors.
