Matrix, The

"The Matrix" is an Academy Award-winning futuristic cyberpunk thriller directed by Larry and Andy Wachowski and released in March 1999. The film follows a hacker named Neo as he searches for an answer to the question that has haunted him for years: What is the Matrix?. A rather famous quotation from the film reads "No one can be told what the Matrix is. You have to see it for yourself." (Morpheus).
