Cover Acts

For bands and artists that play only covers of other artist's songs. Please note there is also the category named Arts/Music/Bands_and_Artists/Tribute_Acts. Tribute acts are individuals or groups who play the music of one person or one band.

This category, Arts/Music/Bands_and_Artists/Cover_Acts is for individuals or bands that play the music of numerous artists and don't restrict their play list to one musician or band.

Please suggest the site to the appropriate letter or number of the alphabar. Enter the band's name in the title field, and nothing else.

Also, it is helpful to include in the description where the band is from or based, (city, state or city, country), and what type of covers (pop, '80s, etc.) the band plays.

Tribute Acts

Tribute acts are music bands or solo artists that appear in imitation of an another, well-established act.

Tribute acts' web sites are listed in a subcategory of the act they imitate, and are linked from this category. If you don't find the artist name listed here, then go to Arts/Music/Bands_and_Artists, find the individual or group's category and suggest your website there.

Submissions for sites about tribute acts which don't currently have a category should be be submitted to the musician's category. For example, a tribute act for Laura Nyro should be suggested to Arts/Music/Bands_and_Artists/N/Nyro,_Laura. Simply suggest the site to the main category.

Please look at the collection of links within this category to see if a tribute act category already exists, and suggest the site there.

Also note that booking agencies do not belong in this category, but should be suggested to Business/Arts and Entertainment/Music/Agents and Managers.
