Glen Burtnik (also spelled Glenn Burtnick and then Glen Burtnik early in his career) is a singer/songwriter/guitarist. In addition to a successful solo career, he has belonged to several bands, most notably Styx. Other bands include Hammer, Helmet Boy, and the Slaves of New Brunswick. Burtnik began his music career playing Paul McCartney in the West Coast version of Beatlemania. Burtnik is also a successful songwriter for other artists. His most successful songs are the #1 pop hit "Sometimes Love Ain't Enough", recorded by Patty Smyth and Don Henley, and the #1 country hit "Spirit Of A Boy", recorded by Randy Travis.
