Formed in Liverpool in 1978, Orchestral Maneouvres in the Dark (often shortened to OMD for obvious reasons) became known for pop songs combining synthesizers with "real" bass, drums and sometimes saxophone. Their first British top ten single was "Enola Gay", in 1981. US chart success arrived in the mid-80s with "If You Leave". In 1989 founding member Paul Humphries left the band, later forming The Listening Pool. Andy McCluskey recorded three more albums under the OMD name.

Ozzy Osbourne (born Dec 3, 1948 in Birmingham, England) - the godfather of heavy metal, and originator of the great Black Sabbath in the late 60s. To this date, he has been a dominant figure in the music industry, creating music that is adored by millions. Although many recognize him for his antics during his early years, he has become a respected musical figure now in his 50s, and sober with a wife and three children. He still continues to put out music, having been involved with a number of great guitarists since his debut album, Blizzard of Ozz. His 1995 albums, Ozzmosis, has attracted some of the younger audiences to listen to his music, and his songs are regularily played on local rock radio stations.
