Talking Heads are a band which formed in 1975, and featured David Byrne on guitar and lead vocals, Chris Frantz on drums, Tina Weymouth on bass and Jerry Harrison on keyboards and guitar. They found success as part of the New York punk movement, playing at the CBGB's club with artists like Television, the Ramones and Patti Smith. Later working extensively with Brian Eno, they made the celebrated concert movie "Stop Making Sense" and split up in 1992 after making 10 albums. David Byrne has a successful and innovative solo career, husband and wife Chris and Tina have their own band the Tom Tom Club, and Jerry Harrison produces and co-founded www.garageband.com.
