This category is for sites pertaining to the English rock band, The Who. Consisting of Pete Townsend, Roger Daltrey, John Entwhistle and Keith Moon, it was a mainstay on the music scene from the sixties through the eighties.
Keith Moon was The Who's original drummer. While not a particularly good timekeeper, Keith's wild style of drumming was a major component of The Who's sound and their stage show. His off-stage antics were even more incredible and the Muppets' "Animal" was reportedly inspired by Keith.
Keith Moon died in 1978 from a drug overdose. Ironically, this was a prescription medication he was taking to overcome his addiction to alcohol.

Tablature (aka "tab") is an alternative to manuscript for the writing down of how music is to be played on stringed intruments.
This category contains sites dedicated to tablature of Who songs.
Like many long-standing popular rock artists, The Who have their share of Tribute Bands. These are bar bands that play (almost) exclusively music of a particular artist, trying to match the sound, and usually the look, of that artist.
Contained in this category you will find information on Who tribute bands.
