If your page is not in English, please do not submit your site here. Non-English sites belong in World/
The main focus of your home page should be about alternative rock music.
Here''s what you should do to get your site listed quickly:
Don''t say that your site is under construction, or that there is "much more stuff coming!" If your site is under construction, you should finish it, and then submit it. If there''s enough content so that we do list it now, and then you do finish it, the description will be wrong, and you''ll need to get it fixed.
If your site crashes computers because it''s buggy, we probably won''t list it.
If your site is already someplace else in the directory, we probably won''t list it again.
If you want your description to talk about what''s on the site, don''t say ".. and more" or "..and much much more". That isn''t very helpful, and we''ll remove it.
Your site is cool. That band is great. But that''s subjective, so we change those sorts of descriptions. If you tell us what''s on your page, we''ll use that. If you tell us your site is the wickedest ever, we''ll change it to say "Includes photos, stories, and links". or something equally lame.
Spell out words. Don''t say "pics" and "info", say "pictures" and "information"
Don''t put in weird capital letters, or no capital letters. The description should be a sentence- only capitalize words that are proper nouns, and the first word.
If you give us the wrong URL, the server is down, or for whatever reason, we are unable to find your site, we aren''t going to add it. We aren''t going to double and triple check your dead links to see if they work now.
We reserve the right not to list sites. However, If you follow all of the above suggestions, you shouldn''t have any problems getting your site listed. Due to the sheer number of sites that are submitted every day, and the other things that the editors have to do, it might take longer than you want it to.
