A comedian, an actor, and now a voice talent, Gottfried brought to life Jafar's (and later Aladdin's) scheming, complaining, and hilarious parrot Iago in "Aladdin" (1992), "The Return of Jafar" (1993), "Aladdin" (TV Series) (1993), and "Aladdin and the King of Thieves" (1996). He has also performed the voices of Mr. Beetle in "Thumbelina" (1994), Art de Slavo in "Duckman" (1994), and the compulsive dog in "Dr. Dolittle" (1998).
