Sam Neill - actor, born 14th September 1947, Omagh, Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Returned to the South Island of New Zealand in 1954 with his army family. Films include 'Sleeping Dogs' (1977), 'My Brilliant Career' (1979), and 'The Final Conflict' (1981), the success of which made him to move to England. International films include 'Jurassic Park' (1993) and 'The Piano' (1993).
