Her major acting debut came in a World War II television movie 'One Against the Wind' (1991). Films include Kenneth Branagh's film of Shakespeare's 'Much Ado About Nothing' (1993), and TV work includes BBC's 'Cold Comfort Farm' (1995), and the mini series 'Emma', (1997).
