This category contains only galleries with physical locations in North America. All listed sites have retail locations that are open to the public with weekday and/or weekend hours -- none are by appointment only. While all of these site promote the art they sell, many have a scholarly component to them.

Following these guidelines will allow us to add your site to the directory as quickly as possible.

Gallery sites that push Online Sales or have no physical location belong in the Galleries/Virtual or Shopping/Fine_Arts/Art_Galleries categories.

Museums, Auctioneers, Art Publications, etc. do not belong in this category.
