Gallery sites that push Online Sales or have no physical location belong in the Galleries/Virtual or Shopping/Fine_Arts/Art_Galleries categories.

Museums, Auctioneers, Art Publications, etc. do not belong in this category.

Sites with adult content as defined in the Adult Guidelines are not accepted here. Please submit them to the appropriate subcategory within Adult.

All listed sites have retail locations that are open to the public with weekday and/or weekend hours -- none are by appointment only. While all of these site promote the art they sell, many have a scholarly component to them and do not push 'online sales'.

Gallery sites that focus on online sales or have no physical location belong in one of two categories:

Arts/Visual_Arts/Galleries/Virtual - for those that show works of art, have no physical location and do not offer ''online shopping''

Shopping/Visual_Arts/Galleries - for those that push ''online shopping''.

Museums, auctioneers, art publications should be submitted to a more appropriate category.

Sites with adult content as defined in the Adult Guidelines are not accepted here. Please submit them to the appropriate subcategory within Adult.
