Industry Analysts are businesses focusing on research of industry sectors or technology areas. Their research is mainly produced "on speculation" as opposed to research to a specific client specification (which would be a research consultant).

(Many industry analysts also offers research consulting services, and it is appropriate that many of the entries in this category should also be listed elsewhere in the directory. However, to be listed here, the organization should have a large component of Industry Analysis.)

To be included in this category, the Analyst should have a practice area dedicated to Customer Management with recent research publications. The Analyst can cover technology, business issues, or other areas of interest to Customer Management.

Sales Force Automation is for sites that give information about software for automating a Sales Force. This can involve Contact Management as well as Customer Relationship Management. A product like ACT, would really not fit well in this category, because it is limited to a role of contact management, but does not really extend to a large scale Sales Automation project.
