Wholesale

The Wholesale Trade sector comprises establishments engaged in wholesaling merchandise, generally without transformation, and rendering services incidental to the sale of merchandise.
The wholesaling process is an intermediate step in the distribution of merchandise. Wholesalers are organised to sell or arrange the purchase of sale of (a) goods for resale (i.e. goods sold to other wholesalers or retailers), (b) capital or durable nonconsumer goods, and (c) raw and intermediate materials and supplies used in production.
Wholesale/ contains sites of companies of whose primary focus is to purchase goods and merchandise from producers and manufacturers and to sell them to re-sellers in bulk.

Business/Wholesale_Trade

Wholesale/ lists the sites of companies which concentrate to the definition (a) above.

Companies who sell jewelry, jewelry components, loose gemstones, watches and/or jeweler''s supplies to retail establishments, re-sellers, jewelers and designers.

Companies that also sell to the general public will be considered in the Wholesale/ category only if those retail sales are a MINOR part of company''s trading. Double listing in both Shopping/ and other Business/ categories will be extremely rare and considered on a case by case basis.

There is a fine line between a wholesaler and a manufacturer and they sometimes overlap. Please do not submit your site to both categories as one will be removed.

If you sell directly to the general public from your website you must submit to one of the Shopping/Jewelry/ categories.
