A web template is a pre-designed web page framework which can be edited to include content/text. Professional web templates contain the necessary HTML code and graphics to display properly in a web browser. Upon downloading a web template, the user can edit the HTML code and/or graphics to suit their unique requirements. Edits to web template are performed using an HTML editor and some templates require a specific HTML software application whereas some only require a plain text editor.

If the site offers templates specific to only one HTML editor, it should be submitted to one of the following sub-categories:
