Comic Book Files

Applications listed in this category are specialized in Comic Book Archive files which consist of a series of image files archived most commonly in ZIP and RAR formats but also, although more rarely, in TAR or ACE file formats, with the filename extension renamed to .cbz, .cbr, .cbt and .cba respectively. Therefore CBZ and CBR formats are just renamed Zip and Rar files. These files typically contain PNG or JPEG files. Occasionally static GIF, BMP, and TIFF are also seen.

All submission descriptions must be free from self-aggrandizing hype. Any such content will be either immediately removed or your submission will be deleted.

Submissions for sites under construction will be DELETED.

Sites in this category must be in English.

No site is guaranteed placement in the Open Directory. Any site unrelated to Comic Book File Readers, or submitted to multiple inappropriate categories, using multiple URLs for multiple submissions, or consisting primarily of affiliate links to other sites will be deleted or permanently banned.

Guidelines for submitting sites:

Do not type in capitals, nor capitalize all nouns.
DO NOT include superlatives ("We''re the best, "The greatest website...", "We''re #1..., etc.).
Do not write a sales pitch or hype.
The description should be a brief summary of the site''s content.
- The description must be in coherent sentence form, and free from mistakes.
- Do not use unnecessary capitalization, a list of keywords, or include HTML tags.
- Submit to only the ONE best category possible.
