Websites about Arkham Horror, a boardgame originally published by Chaosium in 1987. The game, inspired by the Cthulhu Mythos, was re-released in June 2005 by Fantasy Flight Games.
This category lists sites about Betrayal at House on the Hill, a 2004 game from Avalon Hill for 3 to 6 players. Players take the role of characters exploring a haunted house. One character is a traitor, and one of the objects of the game is discovering who the traitor is.
Horror games, based on the TV serie "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer". The most well-known Buffy themed game is from Hasbro. The board game is for 2-5 players and mostly recreates Buffy's battles against some of her greatest enemies. One person plays Evil, its Villain and all its servants. Four members of the Scooby Gang(Buffy, Willow, Xander, Oz) are played by the remaining people. Each member has different strengths and weaknesses. Each of the scenarios has slightly different objectives, but the game is largely the same. Players collect cards and combat the opposing side with dice. (In the United Kingdom, there is another Buffy board game. This one is made by Susan Prescot Games Ltd. This is *not* the same game.) There are also Buffy themed variants of Cluedo, Monopoly and Trivial Pursuit.
1985 boardgame based on the roleplaying game Chill from Pacesetter games. Players play tiles to build a haunted manor to explore.

1978 licensed boardgame based on George Romero's film. One player takes the role of the zombies while the other player takes on the role of the humans. The game also had a solitaire play option.

In the Zombicide series of games, 1-6 players take on the role of survivors with unique abilities to battle against hordes of undead. Published by CMON Games and created by Guillotine Games, there are several stand-alone games in the series:

- Season 1 - Hordes of zombies, predictable but deadly.
- Season 2: Prison Outbreak - Berserker zombies, immune to ranged combat.
- Season 3: Rue Morgue - Skinner zombies that might become crawlers.
- Black Plague - Necromancers and more in a fantasy medieval setting.
- Green Horde - Orcs and goblins, catapults and trebuchets.

A simple game where players are people trapped in a town full of zombies. First to make it to the heliport or kill 25 zombies wins. Cards are used to represent events in the game such as finding weapons or zombies.
