The Star Trek: Armada series of games are real-time strategy games that borrow action and gameplay elements from many of the genre's classics.
Star Trek: Away Team is a strategy game designed to engage the player in one of the aspects of the Star Trek episodes and movies: the Away Missions. The player controls a special team of Starfleet Officers on Away Team Missions. The player controls the movements of the team in a top down, ¾ perspective that allows a "birds-eye view" of gameplay and the interactive environment. The team can use tricorders, phasers, hyposprays, phaser rifles and most of the other "Trek" items.

Star Trek: Birth of the Federation is a strategy type game that allows the player to be the leader of one of five different Star Trek governments: the Federation, Klingon Empire, Cardassians, Ferengi and the Romulans.

Star Trek: Borg is an adventure-simulation type game that puts the player as Kaylan Furlong, a young Federation cadet whose father was vaporized six years earlier on the U.S.S. Righteous by the Borg. The character Q from the show is the player's guide. He brings them back in time to battle the Borg and avenge Furlong's death.

Star Trek: Borg is available for Windows 95 and Macintosh formats.

Star Trek: Borg Assimilator, the first world building simulation game set in the Star Trek universe. The player can conquer, assimilate and construct as the Borg. In the game, the player must absorb the distinctiveness of alien races such as Romulans, Klingons and Federation humans to strengthen the collective. The game features a 12 level campaign mode where the player is faced with assimilating races with progressively higher resistance quotients. The over-arching goal of the campaign is to assimilate a series of worlds and acquire the technology needed to develop a stable Omega particle.

The game was shelved in 2003 as part of a licensing dispute and will likely never be released.

Star Trek: Bridge Commander is the first space simulation game that lets the player control a Starfleet vessel from the TV series Star Trek: The Next Generation. There are 30 different missions that will have the properties of Star Trek such as defense, combat, diplomacy, exploration and rescue. The player may take control of a Sovereign and Galaxy Class ship.

A clan and/or guild is a group of players that have formed a sort of team to play a multiplayer version of a game. They often play together, helping each other to improve. Clans often compete against each other, whether informally, as an impromptu match, or in organized leagues and tournaments. Some clans are open and always looking for new players, others require you to be invited from a member. In this holodeck adventure, the player is Pok, a young Klingon warrior caught up in the dangerous circles of Klingon clan politics. On the day of the player's Rite of Ascension, the player's father is murdered in his own home, and it is up to the player, with the help of Gowron (Leader of the Klingon High Council), to find the murderer. The game also includes the Klingon Language Lab. Star Trek: Klingon is available in Windows 3.1 format.

Star Trek: Shattered Universe is a game that features the crew of the U.S.S. Excelsior, just after Star Trek VI. The action mainly takes place on light fighter craft, such as the Klingon Bird of Prey, the Federation fighters from Starfleet Command, and other ships from the Romulans, Klingons, and Vulcans.

The storyline takes place in the show's "Mirror" Universe which was featured in both The Original Series and Deep Space Nine.
