Learning Disabilities (LD) are believed to be caused by differences in the way the brain processes information. Children with LD may have problems with reading [dyslexia], writing [dysgraphia], or math [dyscalculia]. They may have trouble following verbal or written instructions, or translating thoughts to words.

People with LD are not "dumb" or "lazy." In fact, many have above-average intelligence. They simply process information differently.

All sites submitted to this category must be designed for use by kids / teens and provide general information on or about Learning Disabilities (LD).

Websites designed for parents or teachers, or to sell products or services, will not be accepted.

English-only sites. Sites in other languages should be submitted to the appropriate category in /International.

Sites dealing with specific disabilities (ADHD, Dyslexia, etc.) should be submitted to the applicable subcategory.
