Directories of colleges and universities and perhaps of particular departments or programs. Many sites will actually belong in another "directories" category within the ODP, for example a directory of physics departments may be better placed in Science/Physics.

• Submit your site using your main URL.
• Use your site''s actual title.
• Create a brief description, under 25 words, listing the current content of your site (not the future content).
• Do not use first person verbiage (we, our, us).
• Do not use marketing verbiage. (We''re the best!, Most awesome site, Check it Out!) Marketing verbiage will be removed by the editors.
• Sites which are gateways or splash pages to affiliate sites will not be added.
• All sites are reviewed periodically.
• Sites in the directory are subject to changes in placement, description and possible removal from the directory, based on this review.

All fee services (sites which provide the majority of its services for a fee or whose primary business is selling material on how to obtain aid) should be placed in the Fee Services category.

Program-specific submissions should go into more specific categories (e.g. medical programs should go into Medical Schools..)
