The UHI Millennium Institute is an initiative to provide good quality higher education to those living in the remoter areas in the west, north and northeast areas of Scotland, where population density is low, and educational resources sparse. This is being done by pooling the resources of a range of colleges throughout the area, and by providing video-conferencing and other resources to enable courses to be provided and tutored remotely. "University" status will be sought in 2007.
Please only submit sites to this category that relate to the UHI Millennium Institute as a whole. Sites that contain information about one of the member colleges should be submitted to the category for that college.
