Burundi

Cape Verde

It is a republic located on an archipelago of the North Atlantic Ocean, off the western coast of Africa. The previously-uninhabited islands were discovered and colonized by the Portuguese in the 15th century; they subsequently became a trading centre for African slaves. Most Cape Verdeans descend from both groups. "Cape Verde" (Portuguese: Cabo Verde) is named for Cap-Vert (Green Cape), now in Senegal, the westernmost point of Africa.

Kenya

Kenya is located at the Equator on the East Coast of Africa. It borders Somalia, Ethiopia and Sudan in the north, Uganda in the west, Tanzania in the south, and the Indian Ocean in the East. It covers an area of 583,000 sq, km (225,000 sq. miles). Kenya's capital city is Nairobi with a population of approximately 1.4 million people. The other major towns are Mombasa the main port on the Indian Ocean and Kisumu on Lake Victoria.

Mali

The Sudanese Republic and Senegal became independent of France in 1960 as the Mali Federation. When Senegal withdrew after only a few months, what formerly made up the Sudanese Republic was renamed Mali. Rule by dictatorship was brought to a close in 1991 with a transitional government and in 1992 when Mali's first democratic presidential election was held. Nigeria

The Federal Republic of Nigeria is situated on the Gulf of Guinea in West Africa. Nigeria is the most populous state in Africa with 108 million inhabitants; its capital is Abuja. Sao Tome and Principe

The Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe is a tiny two-island nation in the Gulf of Guinea, distanced 140 kilometers from one another, and situated about 250 and 225 kilometers, respectively, off the northwestern coast of Gabon. Both islands are part of an extinct volcanic mountain range. São Tomé, the sizable southern island, is situated almost exactly on the equator. Kampala is the capital city of Uganda. It is divided into 5 divisions, 99 parishes and 811 sub-parishes. The city’s population is approximately 1.5 million. The main languages spoken by the city residents are Luganda, English, and Swahili in that order.
