Pulau Lang Tengah is located near Pulau Redang in the district of Kuala Terengganu. Pulau Lang Tengah means an "Eagle resting on the middle island". There are 12 dive sites around Pulau Lang Tengah.
Pulau Perhentian consists of two islands, Pulau Perhentian Besar and Pulau Perhentian Kecil, located about 21km off the coast of northern Terengganu. It takes about 1 1/2 hour boat ride from Kuala Besut.
Redang Archipelago of islands, including Pulau Redang and 10 km to the north of it, Pulau Lang Tengah. Pulau Redang is about 30km from the fishing village of Merang (not to be confused with Marang).
Kenyir is a rock-filled hydroelectric dam (Malaysia's largest) creating a lake of 300 islands in an area of 369 square km. It was constructed between 1978 and 1985. It is surrounded by jungle, rugged terrain and numerous waterfalls. For outdoor adventure try canoeing, boating, trekking, caving and fishing. It borders with Kelantan in the west and Pahang in the south, and is a gateway to Taman Negara. The main access point to Tasik Kenyir is via Gawi Jetty.
